With many layers of coloured glass, this one-off focal bead pendant has a lot of depth. With inclusions of silver mica flakes, swirls of goldstone and silver glass this bead also has many trapped air bubbles to add interest and sparkle.
The silver glass has reacted to the extreme temperatures required to make these pieces and shimmers with a myriad of gently shifting purples and greens.
After slowly cooling in a temperature controlled kiln, the finished bead has been mounted on a handmade solid Argentium silver headpin which then hangs on a sterling silver chain.
